Price includes 2 persons in private boat. Trips all year round. Preparation and baiting the hooks the night before at 06:00 pm. We are hauling up the longline the next day, starting from Balestrand at 09:00 am sharp. As a local fisherman, you are to get challenged, have to make decisions, master yourself and your own reactions. Experience fish as floating footballs. Blood and sweat and catch. Feel the sense of focus, simplification takes control while you fish.

- Captain Tor is on his way out in the open boat called “Balestrand Fjord Angling” A specially built boat Øyen 620F. F stands for fisherman. Here is clean, tidy, simple and safe. This long line fishery is proper local tradition for food down to 1000 m deep. This is how my family has been fishing for 4 generations. The fish was salted with us and Ling fish were hung to dry on the boathouse wall for “lutefisk”

- The duration of this tour is 7h . The tour only allows groups of 1-6 peoples
- PREPARATIONS START AT: 18.00 the night before with baiting and laying the long line. - Line hauling Starts at 09:00 SHARP the following day - NOTE: Attendance times at 17:45 and at 08:45 outside Balestrand Adventure house / Tourist information - We recommend wearing warm solid clothing for the season, but especially in the winter season - Captain Tor is tall, is wearing navy blue clothes and will be waiting for you - Free parking outside and around.
